- Create your own bespoke website that allows guests to #BookDirect in exchange for a discount or perk. Don’t ‘put all your eggs in one basket’. Revise your website at least once a year. Make sure that it is up to date, refresh photos, and add reviews.
- Regularly revise your descriptions and communications. Make sure they are up to date, free of typos and adjusted for the season.
- Encourage reviews at every step – whether through QR code onsite or email after their stay. Read and respond to all reviews – and take action where needed. Your guests’ voice matters 100%.

- Connect with local businesses who can share your profile on their social media and vice versa. Promote local events and use their # where possible.
