Helping Hospitality Post Pandemic

Over the last two years, I have been fortunate to work with many Accommodation Providers in the UK.

I have watched as the uncertainty of the pandemic has affected them and helped to rebuild businesses, focussing on communications at every step of the journey.

Here are my Top 5 essentials for Accommodation Providers

  1. Create your own bespoke website that allows guests to #BookDirect in exchange for a discount or perk. Don’t ‘put all your eggs in one basket’. Revise your website at least once a year. Make sure that it is up to date, refresh photos, and add reviews.
  2. Regularly revise your descriptions and communications. Make sure they are up to date, free of typos and adjusted for the season.
  3. Encourage reviews at every step – whether through QR code onsite or email after their stay. Read and respond to all reviews – and take action where needed. Your guests’ voice matters 100%.
  4. Create a consistent social media presence – see my 28 days of Content for 4 weeks of inspiration.
  5. Connect with local businesses who can share your profile on their social media and vice versa. Promote local events and use their # where possible.

Every aspect of your journey relies on effective COMMUNICATION. This is my business focus and the quote below is 100% true…
